MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals slide across the board on last session of 2025

Base metals slumped today,sliding amid volatile trades. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1294.15 per kg, down 3.20% on the day. The counter has broken under Rs 1300 per kg mark and has given up the sharp gains seen in last session. MCX Aluminum futures are down 0.84% to trade at Rs 296 per kg. MCX Zinc futures slipped 0.70% to trade at Rs 306.85 per kg. MCX Lead futures also shed 0.25% to trade at Rs 182.90 per kg.
