Agri Buzz: Jeera acreage dips on year in Gujarat

A decline has been seen in the sowing of Jeera in the leading producing state of Gujarat. Latest data showed that the acreage under the commodity stood at 3.24 lakh hectares as on 15 December 2025, up from 3.77 lakh hectares in year ago period. This therefore marks a year-on-year slide of around 14%.
