Economic Buzz: China unemployment rate at 5.1% in November

The unemployment rate in China stood at 5.1% in November, unchanged from October, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a report on Monday. In the first eleven months of this year, the unemployment rate was measured at 5.2% on average.

The urban unemployment rate in 31 major cities was 5.1%, stable compared to October. The average work week of employees in companies was 48.6 hours.
