MCX Morning Wrap: Copper races higher after breaking above Rs 1100 mark, metals stay in demand

Base metals continued to extend recent gains today. MCX December Copper futures are trading at Rs 1121 per kg, up 0.88% on the day. The counter soared 2.40% in last session with a sharp spurt in volume and a decline in open interest. MCX Aluminum futures rose 0.41% to trade at Rs 281.85 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.47% to trade at Rs 321.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures moved up 0.14% to trade at Rs 182.15 per kg.
