Weekly Silver Review: COMEX Silver tests five week high, MCX futures hit Rs 93K

COMEX Silver soared close to $32 per ounce, hitting five week high as tariff drama reignited safe-haven demand for precious metals. US President Trump hinted at a 10% tariff on Chinese imports from February 1, following bold threats of 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada. While action is yet to unfold, markets hope for a tempered approach. Fueling silver's shine are Fed rate cut expectations, a weaker dollar, and strong industrial appetite keeping the metal in high demand. MCX silver futures surged above Rs 93000 per kg mark before moderating.
